Mother of Judith and Shraddavan
On Tuesday, 17th February, at 4pm, Winnie, the mother of Judith and Shraddhavan, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her apartment in Grace. Winnie was 94 years old, almost 95.
About
She came to stay permanently in Auroville in December 2007 but had spent many long visits over the winter time from 1974 onwards and had many friends in Auroville.
Winnie rested in the Health Centre. Last respects were paid from 8am to 8pm for the next two days. Her remains were cremated on Friday, 20th February.
