Aurovilian Maurizio Gavriel Musi left his body in the early hours of Wednesday, 29th December in his flat at Creativity after suffering from a lung disease, struggling to survive for the final two months.

About

Maurizio came to Auroville in 2003 and officially joined as Aurovilian in January 2006. He will be remembered as a fine musician, a guitarist; he encouraged and taught numerous young musicians and participated in the Auroville Choir. He also worked at the Pous Tous Distribution Centre preparing meals, until his health failed. He will be missed by his many friends. He was 55 years old.
