Jonny
It was with a shock that the community learned on Friday, October 22nd, of the sudden demise of our Aurovilian friend and brother Jonny Mueller, who had fallen from a tree and due to his injuries passed away the same day at approximately 1 pm in PIMS. He was just 53 years old.
Jonny, who hailed from Germany and lived in New Lands since his joining in 2003, will be fondly remembered for his conscientious work at Matrimandir, the setting up of the Wood Coop after the storms some years ago, as well as for his patient therapeutic work with handicapped persons and ready availability for the German ‘Zivis’ (civil servants from Germany volunteering in Auroville).
His remains were cremated in Adventure’s Farewell Grounds on Wednesday October 27th.
May he rest in peace with Mother's grace.
