Elumalai
A. Elumalai from Kuilapalayam passed away on the night of November 15th. Elumalai became known to many Aurovilians during his 35 years of dedicated service to Auroville as an accountant.
Elumalai started working for Auroville right from the beginning of Pour Tous, with Clare and Surabhi. He also worked for Auroville Fund, SAIIER, Matrimandir, and until his retirement in 2011, for ABC and Artisana Trust.
Elumalai was 57 years old, and since his retirement his health had declined. He is survived by his mother, his wife Anjalai, and three sons and a daughter.
Elumalai's body could be visited at his home in Kuilapalayam, and the funeral took place at 4 pm.
His dedicated work and concern for Auroville will always be appreciated.
