Auroville Radio

A community radio facility, Auroville Radio, is presently located in the Town Hall premises. The aim is to provide information not only on the ideals of Auroville but also to portray what it is like to live and work in the township, while acting as a communication tool for the community of Auroville and friends of Auroville. Auroville Radio shares news, announcements, interviews, music, conferences, workshops and dramas performed by Aurovilians, and gives out news in several languages – English, French, Tamil, Spanish, German and Italian. Auroville Radio also wants to be an educational instrument to teach radio journalism, editing and recording to youth of Auroville.
