Raymond Thépot
This is to inform the community that long-time Aurovilian and old friend, Raymond Thépot, has left his body this morning, Wednesday March 15th, at 07.45 am in his house in Fraternity, in the presence of his daughter who had arrived from France just in time. Raymond was 71 years old.

Auroville will remember this good friend and brother, a writer and poet, who took up the daunting task of translating Sri Aurobindo's 'Savitri' into French and who wrote about his beloved Auroville in his various writings and poems, depicting experiences "of someone travelling 'on the spot' ('sur place'), travelling more within his inner self than in the world around him." *
Raymond is free now from his ailments and ready to travel onwards ~ with MA..
His body will be brought to the AV Health Centre where Aurovilians can visit from 12 noon till 6 pm today.
