In true mourning we inform the community that this morning, Thursday March 2nd, our good friend and dear dear sister Jossy passed away in the Auroville Health Centre at 4.30 am. She was, and has been throughout the process, closely surrounded by her family.

In a most loving and dignified last tribute, family and friends buried longtime Aurovilian Jossie (Eblagon) in theAdventure burialground early morning of March 7th '06. Jossie hailed originally from France and lived and worked inAuroville since 1974.

She would have been 65 this year.Jossy's body will remain today and tomorrow in her house in Sincerity, where her friends can come and be with her

Our strength, love and support flow out to Adhara, Dayini and Jyotis.

This is to inform the community that long-time Aurovilian and old friend, Raymond Thépot, has left his body this morning, Wednesday March 15th, at 07.45 am in his house in Fraternity, in the presence of his daughter who had arrived from France just in time. Raymond was 71 years old.

We have just been informed that Ilse Breijman, longtime holder of the Auroville International Netherlands and Aurovilian since the last ten years, has left her body shortly after arriving in the Netherlands for the summer months.

May 18th

From a note on the AVNet we learn that Gerard Cornec, brother of the late Gilbert Cornec, passed away in France on Wednesday, May 18th. Gerard joined Auroville in January 1982 and lived most of the time in Svedame; he would have been 50 in September this year.
