Dedicated Her Life to The Mother

June Maher, founder of the Auroville Association/Auroville International USA, passed away on Friday April 25th in the Watsonville, CA hospital.

About

June had been closely associated with Auroville since the early 70s, and welcomed many Aurovilians in her home in the USA.

June dedicated her life to the Mother and to the development of Auroville, and she never wavered in her vision of the manifestation of the Divine consciousness on earth and in her dedication to help bring that about.

Rakesh, who joined Auroville in 2002 and worked in different capacities at various places in Auroville till 2008, passed away on July 17th due to a heart related medical condition. He was 40 years old.

Around midnight of January 20th, our friend and brother Joachim Kochenburger (German national), left his body in the house of a good friend in Bommapalayam. He may have suffered a sudden stroke as he had not appeared to be ailing and seemed in good health; he was 71 years old.
