Father of Harini

In the evening of February 2nd, Harini’s father, Mr T.A.Sampathkumar, passed away at the age of 85 at JIPMER, where he had been hospitalised for a week. Due to his ailing health, Mr Sampathkumar had been staying with Harini in her Yantra house along with his wife for little over a year.

After a short viewing time at the Crownroad Farewell Centre, his remains were cremated in the late afternoon of the same day at Auroville’s cremation grounds at Adventure.

Smt. Ahalya Rajan, passed away at the age of 76 due to an accident while crossing the highway at Morattandi on February 2nd, 2018. She was in normal health for her age and in frequent contact with her two sons living in Auroville, and daughter Maya in Kerala.
