Patrice Marot

Co-Founder of Mira Aditi

Patrice Marot, French national Aurovilian during Auroville's early days and one of the founders of Mira Aditi, abruptly departed from this life on July 7th, 2006. He was 50 years old.

About

During his around 10 years in Auroville, Patrice used to live in Certitude with his partner Rose, and left Auroville at the end of the eighties. On July 11th, a small ceremony was held for him by his family and friends, in Langon, near Bordeaux.

In the morning of Thursday, March 2nd, our good friend and dear dear sister Jossy passed away in the Auroville Health Centre at 4.30 am. She was, and had been throughout the process, closely surrounded by her family.

Long-term Aurovilian and old friend, Raymond Thépot, left his body in the morning of Wednesday March 15th, at 07.45 am in his house in Fraternity, in the presence of his daughter who had arrived from France just in time. Raymond was 71 years old.
