Nirodbaran, Sri Aurobindo's notable scribe and physician, quietly slipped into other regions on July 17th, at 7.50 pm, at the remarkable age of 102

About

Dr Nirodbaran, a real friend and supporter of Auroville, lived some 70 years in the Ashram, as personal physician of Sri Aurobindo, as well as his scribe and correspondent, and as poet in his own right. Through his written work he was, and is, for many a door into Sri Aurobindo's worlds.., - a door through which he now may enter to join THEM to whom he dedicated his entire life.

A last homage could be given to this dear friend and remarkable being during the entire day of Wednesday, the 18th, when his body lay in state in his premises in the Ashram's main compound.

Farewell, dear Nirod'da, we will always remember you, with deep gratitude and love.

In the morning of Thursday, March 2nd, our good friend and dear dear sister Jossy passed away in the Auroville Health Centre at 4.30 am. She was, and had been throughout the process, closely surrounded by her family.

Long-term Aurovilian and old friend, Raymond Thépot, left his body in the morning of Wednesday March 15th, at 07.45 am in his house in Fraternity, in the presence of his daughter who had arrived from France just in time. Raymond was 71 years old.
