We have been informed that due to a physical ailment Kari Edwards passed away at the age of 52 in the weekend of December 2nd, in the USA.

About

Kari Edwards recently stayed with her partner Fran in Auroville for a year, and they were planning to come back. She was quite involved in the organisation of programmes in MmC's Cinema Paradiso.

Kari was winner of the 2002 New Langton Art's Bay Area Award in Literature, and was a poet, artist, and gender activist. Her artwork has been exhibited in museums throughout the United States, and her writing can be found in various well established publications. She is author of several books, latest of which is the experimental novel "a day in the life of p."

In true mourning we inform the community that this morning, Thursday March 2nd, our good friend and dear dear sister Jossy passed away in the Auroville Health Centre at 4.30 am. She was, and has been throughout the process, closely surrounded by her family.

This is to inform the community that long-time Aurovilian and old friend, Raymond Thépot, has left his body this morning, Wednesday March 15th, at 07.45 am in his house in Fraternity, in the presence of his daughter who had arrived from France just in time. Raymond was 71 years old.

We have just been informed that Ilse Breijman, longtime holder of the Auroville International Netherlands and Aurovilian since the last ten years, has left her body shortly after arriving in the Netherlands for the summer months.
