Johan Defour
Lived in Auroville in the 1990s
Information reached us that Johan Defour, our Belgian friend and brother who stayed with us in Auroville for several years in the nineties, left his body on 21st April at the age of 60. He had been living in Ibiza, Spain, and had been ill with lymphatic cancer.
About
His Aurovilian friends met together during a silent gathering at the Banyan tree in the late evening of Wednesday, 22nd April, remembering this artistic and passionate man whose inner search was the main thread in his life.
