Francoise Corbel

Originally from France, Francoise arrived in Auroville in 1981, and knew that this was her home. She quickly became involved in education and worked in this field for 43 years as a teacher, an administrator, and later in the field of teacher training. In the past ten years she offered her energies in Aikiyam School at New Creation and at NESS, New Era Secondary School, as a member on the Board of Trustees.

Françoise will always be remembered for her kindness and laughter.

Her family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her friends, the team at Marika Home, as well as Health Services for their kindness and support of Françoise in the last years of her life.

Her mortal remains were cremated on Thursday, April 23rd, at 4.30 pm
