Co-Founder of Findhorn

Eileen Caddy, one of Findhorn's founders, left her body on December 13th, 2006. She was in her late eighties.

About

Eileen led a rich life of deep inner discovery with which she inspired and guided countless individuals in Findhorn and beyond. Her presence and teaching will live on through her many books.

Eileen visited Auroville some twenty years ago at which time she interacted with a good number of Aurovilians and encouraged us to go on with our quest, come what may.

In the morning of Thursday, March 2nd, our good friend and dear dear sister Jossy passed away in the Auroville Health Centre at 4.30 am. She was, and had been throughout the process, closely surrounded by her family.

Long-term Aurovilian and old friend, Raymond Thépot, left his body in the morning of Wednesday March 15th, at 07.45 am in his house in Fraternity, in the presence of his daughter who had arrived from France just in time. Raymond was 71 years old.

Ilse Breijman, longtime holder of the Auroville International Netherlands and Aurovilian since 1996, left her body shortly after arriving in the Netherlands for the summer months.
