The former member of the Auroville Governing Board, Dr L.M. Singhvi, passed away at the age of 76 on Saturday, October 6, 2007.

About

In February 2006 Dr Singhvi had agreed to deliver the keynote address at a Seminar on Jean Monnet - Uniting People organised by the Pavillon de France in Delhi.

The function was held at the India International Centre. His speech demonstrated his knowledge of Sri Aurobindo's philosophy and also his deep commitment to Auroville. He told the audience: "I am a citizen of Auroville."

Aurovilian Gert Paschinger, Austrian, passed away in his sleep early Sunday morning, August 26th, at the age of 63 in his house in 'Ritam' in the north-western part of the Greenbelt. Gert suffered from a heart problem since several years.
