Concentration in the Matrimandir
Inner Chamber

Those seeking to concentrate in the Matrimandir are requested to read the following information carefully before applying:

1. Place for Individual Concentration: The Matrimandir Inner Chamber is a place for individual, silent concentration.

2. Closed Days: The Matrimandir remains closed for visitors’ concentration on Sundays and Tuesdays.

3. Visiting Hours: Visitors’ concentration is only in the morning, with reporting time at 8:15 am.

4. Booking Information: Same-day bookings are not available. Bookings must be requested for subsequent days and as per availability seen on the link.

5. Advance Booking: Booking dates are open 5 working days in advance. Please book at least 3-5 days in advance to avoid disappointment.

6. No Group Bookings: Based on the guidelines given by the Mother, group bookings are not accepted for concentration in the Inner Chamber. It is a place for individual concentration.

7. Children’s Policy: Only children aged 10 years and above are allowed into the Matrimandir. Children below this age must stay at the Visitors Centre with an accompanying adult.

8. Weather Conditions: In case of rainy weather, the Matrimandir will be closed, and all bookings for that day will be cancelled.  Visitors will be notified by email no later than 7:35 AM.

1. Application Process: Please scan the image given below OR click the booking form link given below the image. Each person needs to submit their own form separately using their own personal email ID.

2. Permanent Email ID: The email ID you submit will be permanently registered for all future booking requests for Matrimandir concentration.

3. Individual Bookings Only: Bookings done on behalf of someone else will not be accepted, except for close family members like partners, parents and children. All other bookings will be declined.

4. Booking Link Availability: The booking link is open from 7 AM to 12 Noon IST each day of the week, except on Tuesdays.

5. Technical Issues: In case of any issues encountered while booking, you may write to mmconcentration@auroville.org.in and we will try to get back to you at the earliest.
