Auroville Energy Products (AEP) was founded in 1996 in the International Township of Auroville, South India. It's focus is on high quality and efficient electronic control components for renewable energy systems - such as solar charge controller, inverter, hybrid (wind / hydro / diesel) controller and many more. AEP's aim is to provide a complete solution in collaboration with its local and foreign partners for renewable energy systems based on natural resources like solar, wind and water.
Auroville Energy Products (AEP) was founded in 1996 by German electronic engineer, Carsten Michelsen, and is based in the international township of Auroville in South India.
AEP is concentrating on 3 aspects:
- Consultancy on renewable energy technologies with a focus on Solar PV systems
- Capacity building through training sessions and internships
- Component supply of high quality with life cycle service
In collaboration with our local and foreign partners, AEP has provided complete solutions for renewable energy systems based on natural resources like solar, wind and water in the region from Eastern Africa to the Pacific.
