Auroville Electrical Service (AVES)

At Auroville Electrical Service, we provide a comprehensive range of electrical services to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability for our community. Our work includes checking earth resistance and insulation resistance for both underground LT and HT cables, as well as analyzing faults in these cables. We handle wire tracing for domestic wiring, live cable tracing, and use advanced tools for detecting wires, wood, and metal within walls. We conduct BDV oil tests for transformer insulation, replace various types of fuses, and liaise with TANGEDCO/TANTRANSCO for approvals and policy decisions.

We coordinate with electrical inspectors for annual inspections and offer one-year maintenance for domestic wiring. We monitor light fittings, perform energy audits, manage energy consumption, and improve power factors for industrial and commercial consumers to avoid penalties. Our services extend to consulting on home and industrial automation, agricultural automation, and lightning protection systems. We maintain and operate HT/LT switchgear, conduct EMF detection, and provide emergency generator support.

During natural calamities, our team is dedicated to restoring power promptly, even assisting TANGEDCO outside of Auroville. We also handle external installations, testing, and commissioning of HT/LT systems, ensuring all work meets IS/IEC standards.
