Patha of Fraternity
Aurovilian Patha (Padmanaban Erichappan) of Fraternity passed away at JIPMER at 8am in the morning of 30th May, 2023, due to liver failure. He was 54.
Life in Auroville
Born in Kuilapalayam, with a quick and alert nature, Patha started working at the age of 20 at Aurelec as a technical assistant to be soon promoted as service engineer, and remained working there, off and on, in various functions under various ADPS-based units till 2018. During his later years he worked as networker at Aquadyn.
Patha lived in Fraternity with his wife Pushpa and their two sons Auroshakti and Aurobhakti. His body was taken to the family house where his friends could visit for a last farewell. On May 31st his remains were cremated in the Auroville cremation grounds with many of his friends attending.
With prayers for his onward journey, our heartfelt condolences and strength go out to Pushpa and her sons, other family members and his many Auroville friends.
