Green Group

The group, which consists of representatives from the Farm Group and Forest Group, reviews issues pertaining to development of the Green Belt and makes recommendations according to environmental protection principles while trying to facilitate the overall growth of Auroville. Though the primary concern at present is watershed management and reforestation, integrated farming practices are also a priority. The group interacts with the group overseeing the general development of Auroville (L’Avenir) as and when needed.
