Francis O' Kelly

Lived In Auroville During the 1990s

Francis O' Kelly (an Irish national born on June 20th, 1942) passed away in the morning of 12th January 2015 in Taunten, Somerset. Francis was involved in Auroville in the 90's, his wife Amudha was from Edeyanchavadi where he would live when visiting. Our condolences and love to go out to Amudha and their children Gabriel and Desmond.

Alexei

Brave Warrior

Alexei came to Auroville in 1992 when he was 13 years old. My son was given a big, loving heart, gentle and humble, which could not find the proper match in the world around him. Alexei was given a rebellious nature which made him to go through a hard life here in Auroville. His experience in Russia where Alexei had to go and stay from 2009 onwards was really tough.
Serge Cattaneo

Early Pioneer

One of Auroville’s early pioneers, Serge Cattaneo, passed away on February 6th this year, at the age of 77, in France where he lived with his long-time partner and wife Flore, also Aurovilian for many years.
