You must do the work as an offering to the Divine and take it as part of your Sadhana. In that spirit the nature of the work is of little importance and you can do any work without losing the. contact with the inner presence.

Auroville City Services provides basic services to residents of a city which include work, Finance, water, land, houses, roads, library, schools, food, security, safety, ambulance, clothing, waste management, health & transportation. It provides additional utilities like electricity, gas, post office, Internet, telephone, and IT support.
It is funded by the Auroville Budget Coordination Committee (BCC), Government of India grants, and donations from India and all over the world.
There are more than 40 City service units in and out of Auroville to provide basic support for Auroville Residents, Newcomers, and Friends of Auroville.
