A Danish Award For Sadhana Forest
Sadhana Forest is a volunteer-based organization focused on reforestation and food security in arid areas.
Humanitarian Water and Food Award announced the 2010 winner, at its first-ever award event held at LIFE, Faculty of Life Sciences, Copenhagen. In third place came the Sadhana Forest organization for their initiative "Sadhana Forest". "Great ideas," said Professor Alfred, "attract people. And today, looking at Sadhana Forest we see that volunteerism is not dead, but very much alive".
