Youthlink

YouthLink is a collective space for youth to progress in the Auroville spirit of service and evolution of consciousness.YouthLink is an organization that provides information and space for young adults to organize events, education, and projects.

YouthLink is an educational activity and a service under the Auroville Foundation.

How YouthLink began

The Auroville Retreat was a large community process held in March 2015, with several months of work in advance preparation. The Vision Task Force, namely consisting of members from Auroville’s Governing Board, International Advisory Council and Working Committee initiated this process, inviting all Aurovilians to participate.

The process created space for the residents of the Auroville community to reflect on the themes of Growth, Economy, Town Planning, Bioregion, Education, Governance and Youth. The young adults participating in this retreat agreed to start an initiative together to help address the concerns regarding their own generation. And so YouthLink was born.

YouthLink is

A space for young adults to explore themselves and discover their offering for the world.

An opportunity to explore ‘community’ as a central theme for the evolution of humankind.

An invite to older mentors to share their wisdom with the future generations.

A bridge between Auroville, its bioregion, India and the world.
